Meet the Founder

Safa Tayebi

JAAME is founded and led by Safa Tayebi, who trained in fashion in the United Kingdom and was awarded Young Designer of the Year at the Clothes Show UK in 2014. Her years within the British fashion industry deepened a conviction she had long held — that dressing with intention is not a luxury, but a quiet and powerful way of knowing oneself. That conviction is at the heart of every decision JAAME makes.

JAAME Studio

Studio London & Dubai Dressed with intention.

JAAME is a multidisciplinary womenswear studio at the intersection of art, culture, and considered craft — a space built for the woman who chooses with purpose, who understands that what she wears is a direct expression of who she is and what she values.
We use only natural materials. Our sourcing is deliberate and fully transparent, with every fabric traced to its origin and every supplier chosen for their shared commitment to the land and the people who work it. Fair wages are not a stance we take for appearances — they are the foundation on which everything else is built.
Our collections are produced in small quantities, by design, moving at their own pace and crafted without haste, surplus, or compromise. The result is clothing that carries genuine meaning — in how it is made, in how it feels against the skin, and in how naturally it becomes part of a life lived with care.
Collaboration is central to how we work. We build ongoing relationships with artists and creatives whose practice feels close to our own, including London-based painter Ala Jazayeri, whose work moves fluidly between canvas and cloth, weaving texture and narrative directly into the fabric.
